We offer complete filtration solutions that prevent cogeneration engine failures caused by crankcase oil or air contamination. This avoids production downtime and increases plant efficiency.
The number of activity stoppages is reduced
Efficiency and productivity are increased
At Grupo Cartés we supply the necessary solutions for oil filtration in the cogeneration engine crankcase. This reduces the number of stoppages in the power generation process and protects the machinery components.
Through multiple alternatives for the filtration of engine intake air, methane gas used as fuel, and lubricating oils, it is possible to increase the overall energy efficiency of the process and the service life of the components.
The gas generated during the cogeneration process must pass through a scrubbing system that removes sulphur or other harmful substances before entering the engine.
On the other hand, to perform the combustion, the cogeneration process needs air and, therefore, the inlet air to the engine must also be filtered.
In addition, thanks to the air intake filters, adequate filtration of the room where the cogeneration engine is located is guaranteed. In this way, possible breakdowns are avoided, maintenance costs are reduced and productivity is increased.
We develop the most suitable technical solutions to minimise the entry of silicon in cogeneration engines, with the aim of guaranteeing the correct operation of the process, protecting the engine and all its components.
